When June arrives it always feels as though summer should
be just around the corner. But, after a brief flirtation with hot, sunny weather,
for which I was stuck inside finishing off a dissertation, England seems to be
failing dramatically on the weather front once again. I’m more impatient than
normal this year due to the post-uni glow I’m currently basking in, which is in danger of being seriously tarnished by a lack of sunshine.
Pinterest is fast becoming a serious rainy-day addiction
and in an attempt to remain optimistic re. summer I’m pinning rather than
pining. A whimsical b&w inspiration post seems fitting and also a nice way
of easing myself back into blogging after too long an absence. So, here’s to a loose,
carefree and white-hot summer. Fingers crossed England’s got another heat wave
hidden up its sleeve...
